What the rewards wallet does today
One account and one points balance across every part of the site. Here is exactly how points are earned right now, and what we are not promising yet.
The wallet is a real ledger, not a loyalty card in a drawer. This post says only what it does as of today, friend — the day something new lands, this page changes with it.
One account, every door
Sign in once and the same account works in Shop, Cook, Discover, and Connect. Your points and your patches are on one account page whichever section you earned them in. Stay, the resort, is not open yet, so nothing happens there.
How points are earned
Four ways, and only four:
- An order at the Supply Co., when the order is placed under your account (the same email you signed in with). Points are credited automatically when the order comes in, and taken back if it is cancelled or refunded.
- A bake report in the Kitchen, once a moderator approves it.
- A venue review in the Guide, once a moderator approves it.
- A patch. Most patches carry a point value, credited the moment the patch is awarded; some are status only.
Each one is a row in an append-only ledger. Nothing is edited after the fact; a correction is a new row. You can read the whole ledger on your account page.
What patches are
Patches are badges for things you did — the first approved bake report earns Cookie Master, for one. They sit on the patch shelf on your account page. They are separate from points and cannot be spent.
Points for what you did. Patches for who you became.
What we are not promising yet
Spending. The plan is points as a discount at checkout, and it is not built yet, so for now your balance accrues and shows on your account page. There is no "Kitchen premium," no bookings through the Guide, and no resort nights. When any of that becomes true, the wallet page and this Library will say so on the day it does.
