Stoney says: start low, go slow — the forest isn't going anywhere. Wait 90 minutes before seconds.
Steps
- Line up four identical lidded jars on the counter, plus a kitchen scale. Anyone who might open the fridge should know what's in it.
- In a large bowl, stir together the oats, chia seeds, cinnamon and salt.
- Warm the milk and yogurt together just to lukewarm — body temperature, not hot. Whisk in the maple syrup.
- Whisk the melted infused coconut oil into the warm milk base in a thin stream, beating hard for a good 30 seconds so it disperses into fine droplets rather than floating as a slick. This is the dose step: everything from here on is about keeping that dispersion even.
- Pour the liquid over the oats and stir thoroughly, scraping the bottom and sides so no chia or oil is hiding there. Stir again right before you portion.
- Zero the scale under the empty bowl beforehand or weigh the full mixture now, divide the number by four, and ladle that exact weight into each jar — eyeballing it is how portions drift. Lid them.
- Chill at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, and up to 4 days. Stir each jar before eating and add toppings then.
- **Label every jar before it goes in the fridge:** name, date, **5 mg THC per jar (20 mg per batch)**, and 21+ only. Start with one jar, wait at least two hours before considering more — start low, go slow.
